交通大學人機互動中心成立開幕暨講座活動
國立交通大學人機互動中心成立於 2017年12月，是全國第一個以人機互動（Human Computer Interaction，簡稱HCI）作為核心研究暨教學中心。由資訊學院、客家文化學院、管理學院、人文社會學院等人機互動領域相關專業學者與老師組成，結合各領域資源，專注於人機互動相關領域發展之研究機構，研究領域包括：資訊、傳播、心理、人因、設計、藝術、社會學。
國立交通大學人機互動小組將於106年12月20日（星期三）下午一點，假交通大學電資大樓國際會議廳舉辦「人機互動中心成立開幕暨講座活動」。誠摯邀請您參與人機互動中心開幕式、聆聽精彩的演講與分享我們的成果！

Embodied Media: Haptic Technologies Expand Our Bodily Experiences
Recent expansion of VR technology is pushing the boundary of human abilities.
Especially, the advance of haptic technologies make it possible to record, share, enhance, and even create the kind of experiences that we have through our bodies.
This talk introduces research and social deployment activities in the Embodied Media research group at Keio University Graduate School of Media Design,
which includes Haptic technology, Haptic Design, Telexistence, and Superhuman Sports.

Intelligent User Interfaces for Developers
Developing interactive systems often requires programmers managing complicated
code logic and behaviors that involve rich user input and system feedback. In this talk, I'll introduce a series of tools we've developed using program visualization and intelligent interfaces to improve user experiences for developers. These include a framework for creating cross-device wearable interaction by scripting and a technique of illustrating program logic with an automatically generated storyboard visualization (which won a CHI Best Paper Award). I'll also share my experiences working at industrial research labs on Human-Computer Interaction, including Google, Adobe, and Microsoft Research.
