本次講者邀請到Dr. Wei Peng，她是美國密西根州立大學媒體與資訊學系副教授，擅長運用數位遊戲和行動應用程式進行健康宣導、教育以及社會改造。發表超過30篇SSCI論文，榮獲ICA、NCA多座頂尖論文獎。
Dr. Wei Peng is an Associate Professor in the Department of Media and Information, Michigan State University. She received her Ph.D. in Communication from the Annenberg School for Communication, University of Southern California in 2006. Her recent projects focus on using digital games and mobile apps for health promotion, health education, and social change. She has published over 30 SSCI papers and won several top paper awards from the International Communication Association and the National Communication Association. She has served as a guest editor for Games & Culture and as a member of the editorial board of Journal of Communication, Games for Health Journal, and International Journal of Gaming and Computer-Mediated Simulations.
Dr. Wei Peng 將呈現近年來的精彩研究，講題為 "Interdisciplinary Research of Digital Games"，分享其研究成果，探討數位遊戲對人們健康、教育的潛在影響。
In this talk, Dr. Peng will discuss several of her research projects on the positive effects of digital games. In particular, she will discuss three projects that examined the potential of digital games for eliciting empathy, for health education, and for physical activity promotion.
